Sound and upside down drip???(Sun)

This workshop has been modified (New and Improved) after learning so much from the last time.

Sooo..  we take a 12 inch subwoofer, a trash bag, a handy laser trigger that seems to always be lying around the studio...

put them together and then just add water and BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!

This workshop is going to be REALLY LOUD!!!  Bring your tripods, macro lens and hearing protection - dancing shoes are optional...

Speaking of equipment, I have a Nikon D90. For macro work I use the kit zoom (135mm) and a Canon 500D close-up lens. Will that work in this situation? I'm not sure what the laser is for . . . Also, where's the best place to park?

    Cheers,

    Will

William, this is my best guess, phrased as a question since I'm not totally sure: Does the laser trigger trigger the shutter by "reacting" when something breaks the beam? That way, you get a shutter release the moment a "drip" pops a certain distance up, off the surface. Are those red spots in the sample pics "beam bits"?

      It is that simple...

Hi guys, it's me again. Despite my best efforts, I won't be able to make it tomorrow :( I hope you guys have fun & make lots of super-cool shots! I'm still interested about the panny/laser trigger question, for future shoots, if anyone has experience

Hi guys! I have an equipment question. I have a panasonic fz-150 (not a DSLR, but fairly decent). The manual says it accepts a remote shutter release & recommends the panny brand (of course!). Do you have any experience using the "handy laser trigger" with a panny/non-DSLR?

I ask because I'd hate to get there and find out then that it won't work, when I could have given my spot to someone else.

    Thanks!

I rsvp's and paid w/paypal, but after it was "confirmed", I tried to come back to the meetup site (via the link) and then an error showed. But, it said to wait before trying again, in case payment was processed. So, not sure if you got the info for my payment.

It's a meetup connection problem. I put you in...

Ugh! Now meetup won't let me reply to or edit my previous comment. Anyway, paypal emailed me a receipt, FYI. And, rsvp's means rsvp'd (silly iOS auto-correct!)
