Workshop: Working with newbie models

I have my camera and someone to practice on... now what.   How do I get them to move?  They are looking to you for guidance.  Do "you" know how to model?  What are phrases and tips to help them move for the camera.

If you don't help them in the art and science of movement you will have to micro manage your subjects forever.  Do you want your high school senior shoots to look more model like... reap the reward of showing and telling them a few proven techniques I use for every shoot.

A beginner model will be used to demonstrate how it works on a newbie.  I will also be covering "models" doing their own hair and makeup and what to look out for.  My thoughts on styling the newbie model will be covered.

I will be going over my Photoshop workflow at the end, this will just be a quick... this is just how I do it.

This workshop will be based on what you will have to deal with in a "just starting out mode".

Working with a more experienced model with a professional makeup/hair artist will be covered in another workshop.

This will be a non shooting workshop... but bring your camera for Saturday night.

My Saturday night meetup starts at 7pm so you can go out for a bite to eat and come back for a free night of shooting and socializing.  To attend the Saturday night meetup you must become a member.
