We are photo hobbyists and hiking enthusiasts, although.....

We're not just limited to hiking.

We attend wide variety of urban and rural walks, hikes, photography receptions and photography events. Occasional we will volunteer our photography services for different charities or events that need photographers as well.

All levels are welcome!

We'll explore various trails, festivals, receptions and photography exhibits around Southern California and bring our cameras and camera knowledge with us.

We'll do Beginner's and Intermediate trails and walks.

Nothing too strenuous so that way we can enjoy the surroundings peacefully.

Meetup dues for The Los Angeles Hiking and Photography Meetup Group include the following:

• address and directions to specific venues throughout Southern California
• member reviews/comments regarding the venue.
• our group's photo album where you can review photos from the event

• This allows you to:

• review venues for future hikes
• have the ability to explore these areas on your own if you can't make the event using the information provided
• copy/paste and transfer the information for other Meetup groups you are a part of (this is common)
• Get ideas as to how you would like to photograph similar events, objects, people, etc.

• Stay up to date on your rights as an amateur and professional photographer
• Read, review, learn from and/or post instructional material related to photography

If you want to mail me a check/money order, please reply for my address.

If you have paid a membership due last year, you are exempt until the dues date that is specified on your Meetup profile for this group. Thanks for your past contribution. Much appreciated!

Current Assistant Organizers are exempt from Membership dues. Thank you for your time and efforts.
