Sure. Why not? I have had the feeling that the graphics folks don't want to mingle with the photographers because they think what the photographers are interested in doesn't relate to them. But the photographers are interested in the graphics usages of the tools we have in common. I have felt like the graphics folks don't feel their needs are being met by the group, so maybe this would get the real issues out on the table for discussion.

Hello everyone... Hope you're enjoying your fall.
I have been planning the next MeetUp and it occurred to me that like approaching elections, our MeetUp group seems to be running a close race between graphic designers(blue) and photographers(red) so I thought it might be fun to have a "debate" of sorts. We'll show a short clip of a tutorial focusing on each use and then have a "candidate" for each side take questions from the audience in a town hall meetings.
I'm writing looking for feedback. Does the idea sound interesting? Fun? Informative?
