PHP London is a non-profit group to promote knowledge sharing and best practice amongst PHP developers and web development and business professionals in London. The main product right now is a regular PHP meetup, basically a monthly PHP PubCon. In order to attend all you need is an interest in PHP.

    • About: The Rackspace Public Cloud pay-as-you-use hosting framework competes against offerings from Amazon, Google and Microsoft: S3, App Engine, Azure. This talk will demonstrate the component parts, and share the creation of a CentOS L.E.M.P. server suitable for WordPress, Drupal and PHP application hosting as well as the general benefits of PHP-in-the-Cloud development. (nginx / mysql / php-fpm powered images built & configured).

      Benjamin Greenaway engineered the UK's first application of live web-streaming and has since developed software for both the Internet and Entertainment industries, here and overseas. His career spans projects in machine learning and distributed architectures and has produced many new and unique products.
