SJAA Star Party and Astronomy Class

There are two events: Beginners class, star party. Read on.

==Public Star Party==
The SJAA will be holding a public star party from about 8:45PM to 11:45, featuring the splendid planet Saturn, star clusters such as the "Flight of Ducks", pretty double star Albireo, and the Ring Nebula. The moon is absent, probably on summer vacation, we're not sure. Come with a telescope, or just bring your eyes!

==Beginners Classes==
Kid friendly beginning observational astronomy, starting at 7:45PM. Topics: August solar system events, constellations Hercules, Ophiuchus, Serpens Cauda, Sagittarius, and a solar system object in more depth. Mixture of mythology and science, then outdoors to see constellations and view through telescopes. Free - no reservation needed, just show up!

Both events are at San Jose's Houge Park.

    Thanks for the reminder, Glenn. It's fixed now. Note that the address is general; you can park in the lot near the buildings, and this takes place in bldg 1, nearest the parking lot, adjacent to the tennis courts.

    Would one of the organizers please fix the location link at the top? Meetup maintains a location list for each group and no one ever entered it correctly. Yes, I do see that a correct link is at the bottom of the event. Once you fix the Meetup location you won't need to bother about it n the future.

    I actually can't make this night, but the weather should be good, and everyone's encouraged to come out to the star party. If you have little ones, say, around 7 yrs old and up, the class would be suitable for them!
