Announcing a new Meetup for Bay Area Physics and Astronomy Society!

What: The Geminids are back

When: Monday, December 13,[masked]:00 AM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

Geminid meteor shower is back...AGAIN!! Gosh, it keeps coming around and coming around. The least we earthlings can do is go out and watch it. However, here is the problem. Due to bad weather and brightly lit skies around San Francisco, it's hard to see all that we could be seeing. I want to set up a meetup to view these annual visitors but I don't know where to go to get a really good view.

Some people have suggested the Oakland hills. That's fine, but I would need an actual location.
