I am reading an amazing book about the benefits of exercise on our brains. The title of the book is "Spark" by John J. Ratey, MD. Earlier this week the Bergen Record had an article by Virginia Rohan, "Aging Brains Get a Boost From Strenuous Workouts" that was also very interesting. A researcher in that article said that anything that helps your heart will be good for your brain. If you want to stay sharp mentally as well as physically I have one word for you. Exercise!
