In 2010, moved on to join Ustream Asia attracted to the power and potential of social media which starting booming in Japan.

Currently in the Marketing team working on strategies to populate the web site and to attract more people to the interactive live streaming service.

Part 2: "The Act of Godzilla Clause" (Formally Known as Force Majeure) with Bradly Bartz of ABC Solar

How business is done in Japan from an entrepreneurial gaijin perspective. This speech will cover key aspects of starting a business, nurturing the venture and most importantly adjusting to what the market is willing to buy.

Speaker Profile:
Brad Bartz is an early Internet entrepreneur in Japan, starting online services in 1990. The internet company had many forms and finally grew to almost 1 million Japanese users on its free email service.  At that time it was 14% of the Japanese Internet market.  Act 3 began in California in 2000 with founding ABC Solar Inc., a solar energy business that Brad has now duplicated here as ABC Solar Japan KK.   

Brad will talk about his Japan startup experience for his ventures and key moments in his career here.  Some of the key topics are humor, patience & tenacity, knowledge, loopholes, distribution vs direct sales, and Godzilla.
