The Party

A showcase for the inspired lunacy of Peter Sellers and Blake Edwards (who wrote and directed) this rarely-screened film recalls the physical comedy of both Jacques Tati and Chaplin. The loose - and decidedly not PC - plot revolves around Bakshi (Sellers) a would-be actor from India who is a walking disaster. He accidentally gets involved in a big Hollywood dinner party, and chaos ensues. (Blake Edwards; USA; 1968; 99 min)

For those that don't know me, I'll stand in the lobby holding a meetup sign until right before the movie starts. If you're not going to go, please change your RSVP. Thanks.

Peter Sellers' best performance...,, and his accent and face expression are unbeatable and super-hilarious!

This is my favorite comedy of all times!!! I've watched it several times (never on big screen) and always laugh as the first time!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
