Sidelines Sewickley

As sad as I was to say goodbye to Little Athens in Sewickley, I couldn't be more thrilled that a good beer bar took over their space last spring! Sidelines Beer House is the sister bar to the Millvale "Bar & Grille" location, so you can expect the same quality draft selections, but in a slightly less gritty atmosphere with a little more space in suburbia. Tuesday is their Beer Club night, so if you sign up for a free membership, you'll get $1.00 off any draft on your list. They're working on a new website, so here are some better links for more info: Urban Spoon | Yelp | Sewickley Patch article about Grand Opening

For those of you who think Sewickley is soooooo far away, trust me. It's not. It's a straight shot up Rt. 65/Ohio River Blvd; a mere 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Hope to see many of you there!

Good, noisy venue to share some beers and lots of interesting conversations!

Ahhhh, sweet memories of my first Delirium Tremens at the Dive Bar----the beer, not the shakes! It's still my favorite beer although I've tried some good ones with this group!

"Shakes"? Janet, are you thinking of BRGR? That's where you find the shakes!

I think she was referring to the tremens "shakes". ;-)

I'm new to the group and really looking forward to being a part of things. Like Raymond it's a bit far for me, but in looking forward to some events on the east side or central.

Hi Ki! Welcome to the group! Not to worry...we try to keep events on the calendar at least 2x a month, often as much as every other week. Our next one is scheduled for later this month at Dive Bar in Wexford (although Mike hasn't officially posted it yet). We visit places that are centrally located, as well as north, east, west, and south, to try to accommodate everyone. There should be plenty of opportunity for you to come hang out with us soon! Cheers!

I'm new to the group and was just wondering about how long you guys usually stay? I'd like to come, but not sure I can be there at 7pm...probably closer to 8.

Hi Jenny! If you arrive around 8, there will certainly still be plenty of people there. This will actually be one of our smaller events (we've been drawing out closer to 40-50 people lately), but we usually hang out until maybe 9:00-9:30 at least. Some may leave earlier, and some may stay later than that, but generally the 8:00-900 hour is still pretty lively. Looking forward to having you join us!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
