*THIS MEETUP HAS A FEE, WHICH MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE BEFORE YOU CAN RSVP. WE ARE ALSO SETTING AN ATTENDANCE LIMIT OF 25 PARTICIPANTS, DUE TO LIMITED SPACE.*
I've recently gotten to know one of Rivertowne's brewers, Megan Seastedt, and she wants to show us around the brewery! For $8.55* per person, each meetup attendee will get a tour of the brewery (led by Megan), a Rivertowne pint glass, and the beer that goes in it!** Since not all of Rivertowne's current beers are available on tap at their production facility (including the ones Megan herself created and brews), she will also be generously donating a few growlers of some other Rivertowne beers from the Pour House location so we can get a sampling of more of their beers, including hers! Then you'll get to ask her all kinds of questions about beer, the art of brewing, Rivertowne's recent expansion, and more! This is really a unique opportunity - to hang out with a brewer while drinking her beer!
*$8.00 goes to Rivertowne and $.55 covers our PayPal fees.
**One full pint of beer, limited to what's on tap at the brewery, is included in the tour price.
Note: There is no kitchen at the production facility, so food options at the brewery are limited to just a few simple things like cheese cups, pretzels, and hummus. Since Megan will be stopping by the Pour House on her way to meet us at the brewery anyway, she's offered to grab some food for us there. I'm thinking pizza might be the way to go. Rivertowne's pizza is really good, plus it's easy to order for a large group and then transport. If you think you'll be interested in chipping in for some pizza, bring some extra cash with you so we can pay Megan back.
I'm really looking forward to this event, which will be quite a bit different from our normal "meet and greet" type of event, and I hope you are, too! In order to give more people a chance to see this meetup announcement, I'm delaying the opportunity to RSVP until Friday morning. Be sure to come back then to register and pay for this event.
