Gus's Cafe

Much to the delight of gluten-free and vegan diners all over town, Gus's Cafe opened late last year as a place that specializes not only in great-tasting "street food" (think variety found at various food trucks here and in other major cities) but also has a somewhat surprisingly good craft beer list. While their menu is no longer 100% gluten free, their chalkboard menu clearly indicates which dishes are safe for those with dietary restrictions. But food aside, we'll be enjoying  their great selection of craft drafts and bottles!

Beer selection was good but interior was definitely lacking. Great fries.

Unassuming exterior but once inside we found friendly staff and patrons, a good selection of drafts, a large selection of bottles, and very good food.

Nice selection of beer but the atmosphere was a little dive-y.

Might want to give people a heads up a page says CASH ONLY. Need to know that in this day and age

There's an offer on Gus's Cafe's Facebook page for 25% off wings on Mondays and Wednesdays in June. I'm not sure if they'll allow so many of us in the group next Monday to use it at the same time. I'm just saying the offer exists. ;-) You have to click the "claim offer" button and then actually print out the email in order to use the coupon. They can't accept it on your phone.

Any chance the World Cup game will be on? This is USA's first match against Ghana!

Sorry, I have no idea! Mingling with old and new friends over a beer or two will be our top priority! ;-)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
