Barley?s & Hop?s Beer Caf? is a very nice bottle bar hidden in the South Park Shops near the entrance of South Park. They consider themselves a cross between a German Biergarten and a New Orleans style coffee house without the coffee. The place in not that big so it has a nice feel. There are a few tables in the front, about 8 seats at the bar, and a few couches in the back. There is a row of coolers on the one side for you to grab cold brews to drink and a row of open shelves on the other for you to take bottles home. They have 13 taps of which two are usually Delirium and Lion Stout. Lion Stout is one of my favorites overall and on draft it is amazing.

They just had a huge Octoberfest there. They had large tents out in the parking lot and had live bands and all sorts of stuff going on. I bumped into another meetup member there that evening.

Their food is a bit different from the norm. They offer meat/cheese platters, wraps, salads, Panini?s and a selection of wursts.

I discussed our group coming out with Jeff and he was very willing to have us. I tend to get a little excited when talking to owners/managers about us going to a place and it was nice to see Jeff get excited about it as well. November 17th is a bit of time away but he said that he would look into doing some special things for our group. I will keep you posted if he is able to set anything up.
