Homebrew Competition: Try some Homebrew Samples!

This isn't an official Beer Meetup event, but it's still a great opportunity to enjoy some good beer and learn a little bit more about home-brewed beer in the process. Think of it as a mini beer fest focussed entirely on homebrew.

TRASH 22: Post Competititon Banquet
Sunday, March 11 @ 3:00pm
Rock Bottom (Waterfront)
trash22.eventbrite.com

This is the banquet for a homebrew competition that I help out with for the TRASH homebrew club. The event gives people who participated in the competition, people who are interested in home-brewing, and even people who just really like good beer to sample from many of the bottles that were entered in the club's annual competition. We'll have bottles of everything that didn't make it to the second round of judging plus a few kegs from some of the club's best brewers.

For the price of the event you can expect dinner from Rock Bottom, beer samples from just about every style you can imagine, and a commemorative sample glass to facilitate sampling, and live music starting up after dinner. If you want to join us, pre-sale tickets can be purchased at the EventBrite site for $25. If you're interested, be sure to sign up soon: pre-sale tickets are only available before Tuesday at noon.

If you want to skip the awards ceremony and just show up for dinner and a beer, you can plan to show up at 5:00pm — just about when dinner is being served. Regardless of how long you're there, you need to buy a ticket.

Hope to see some beer meetup personalities there!
