Old Eco free week for Conway,Georgetown, Hookstown and Freedom, residents week

Old Economy Village is rolling out the welcome mat for every Beaver County resident. During the months of March, April, and May, Beaver Countians are being given the opportunity to tour the Village for free. It is our way of saying thank you for your support through the years as well as come back and take another look at your National Historic Landmark.

In order to accommodate everyone, the County is being divided up by zip codes. This divides the population into manageable sizes so that the staff and volunteers can provide quality tours of the site. The list below details the week or weeks that residents are being given the opportunity for their free tour. Our calendar of events also details which weeks are designated for which zip code.

Old Economy Village is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Sunday from Noon – 5 p.m. There will be several living history interpreters on site throughout the week such as: blacksmithing, carpentry, bread baking, spinning, and weaving, or other crafts or trades being demonstrated.

Please come to the Visitor’s Center,[masked]th St., Ambridge, PA 15003, and present your driver’s license, utility bill, or some other identification with your address. You will then be shown a brief film before heading down to the site.

If you live in Beaver County but your zip code does not reflect this or you have any questions please contact Holly Dofner at (724)[masked] x 102.
