I have to agree with Don. It seems no one really wanted to commit to whether they were going to be at a certain place at a certain time. No problem with doing your own thing but I think in the future, at least let people know what you have decided to do. That's why it's called "Meet-Up" REMEMBER? I was there at The Bettis Restaurant for a while, decided to eat after all & left. Really enjoyed the band though!

the band was awesome, unfortunately, I couldn't find the group at Bettis or the concert. It wasn't clear on meeting time and a bit unorganized in that respect.

The Beatles Tribute concert last year was amazing . And I really was not the biggest Beatle fan . I knew every song . I have plans for tonight but want to attend events this summer. P.S. they have cement steps you can sit on or metal steps ...

Darla I am planning on going b4 5:00. I don,t know where everyone is planning to watch the show from, but if I hear I'll try to let you know. Around 5 sounds ok to me at the Bettis bar. Has anyone been able to figure out how many might attend, or how the first one there will sign in the group?

Thanks Colleen, nice to hear that. I was going to take the bus downtown but it's a hassel having to be at the right stop @ a certain time, so I am going to park in the strip, it's much cheaper. I may ride in a tad earlier because I have to go somewhere else first. Is the Bettis bar pretty near by? I can't remember. Maybe it's a good idea for all of us to meet there, what does everyone think? I'm thinking maybe meet @ 5 or so to eat something & then go over. Opinions please??

    July 3, 2013

  • DON

looking forward to this evening. I never been to the outside casino concerts, do we bring chairs, blankets, etc? If so, if we meet at Bettis' before then, what should we do with those items?

Sorry I didn't get home till 11:00.It's a little late to make plans. So whoever wants to meet up at the Carnegie park and ride we can figure out if we want to car pool or the T. I can be there any time. even if some one can only make it a little later. Those of us who get there early can meet and greet a little longer. What is the best time for you?

Car pooling is fine but what if someone wants to leave sooner than someone else? I am not far at all from the Carnegie park & ride. I think it's a great idea to meet earlier & then go over also. Anyone know what time this thing is over? I want to make sure I can back
by bus, or whatever, with no problem. C'mon peeps, I'm open, lets put our heads together. Time is going by.

    July 2, 2013

  • darla

if people carpooled 5 people to a car.. cost would only be $4 a person..cheaper then ferry..bus,etc and your car would be right there...jsut a thought

    July 2, 2013

  • Kathleen

Will check out boarding times to ferry if you can get a ride to the "T" from SHills and get off at station square. Alot easier than a bus and faster. If I can suggest meeting at the main entrance to Casino? Before you go in because you have to go into the Casino to get to ampitheatre. Don, where are you guys goinng to be?

If coming by T, the last stop is within easy walking distance of Casino. I will drive into city, park car and take T which is free from downtown to Casino.

That's cool girls! I live in Scott Twp, but I just moved here & I am not sure about whether to take a bus, which I am sure I can. Since this thing is at the Casino, maybe we can meet on the 1st floor of it.But I am certainl open.

let me know where we are all meeting

    July 1, 2013

lets decide where meeting. anyone? because i really am not familiar with faces in group. only 2nd meet up. i do think after yhe concert heading to bettis grill and hanging out on side for appetizers and fireworks at ten would be optimum. unless the wyndham motel unable to see the firworks fom there. i know the pirate games fireworks are seen very clearly there....

    July 1, 2013

  • Kathleen

Ok. I'm game! Just a heads up...the regatta, fireworks, the beatles thing man is it going to be a cluster! Thinking about taking the ferry from station square. Anyone from the south hills should take note. I would like to meet you all but where would you be at the concert???
