First, we'll have the option to enjoy free jazz at the terrific Katz Plaza (7th and Penn, very close to the Benedum) where people can mingle and have a drink/food while enjoying the lively sounds of guitarist Mark Strickland and his band.
While the band performs from 5-7 PM, it may be easier to meet around 6 PM (depending on everyone's work schedule) near the tables/trees between the stage and the outdoor bar area.
Then, for those attending jazz, we can walk to Point State Park to check out a free concert as part of the opening of the Three Rivers Regatta Festival. We should arrive in time to walk around and see a little of the opening act before the Jersey Four(Frankie Valli/Four Seasons Tribute) band performs at 8 PM.
Frankie Valli/Four Seasons Tribute July 2 @ 8 pm, Point State Park

Along with all the recognizable tunes—such as SHERRY, BIG GIRLS DON`T CRY, RAG DOLL, WALK LIKE A MAN, and WHO LOVES YOU—The Jersey Four incorporates trivia, stories about The Four Seasons, humor, audience participation and encourages you to sing-a-long with their fabulous band.
