India Day celebration at Pitt

A description of the event ... I believe that it celebrates India's Independence Day.

Please join us as we celebrate India Day! Starting at noon, visitors will parade around the Cathedral of Learning. Inside there will be a multitude of activities, dancing, and traditional Indian fare. Silk Screen Asian Arts will have a table where visitors of all ages can try rangoli sand art.

Admission is free, there will be food for purchase and some activities have a fee. Hosted by the Indian Nationality Room Committee.

I wanted to respond to an email I received from an attendee. This is an unhosted event, as the event description indicates. It was posted by another organizer (not me), and I'm not hosting it.
