Franklin, I started checking out docker just last weekend. It is very promising so far. I have a ruby image with all of the latest MRI patch levels at https://index.docker.io/u/jtgeibel/ruby/
I also have and image built on top of this which includes nginx and passenger. https://index.docker.io/u/jtgeibel/passenger-nginx/
Here are the scripts I used to create these images https://github.com/jtgeibel/docker-ruby
I've made good progress in moving two of my applications into containers and I'm considering using it in production soon.
