Eat Vegan Waffles & Star on a Talk Show at Waffle Shop

Only vegan waffles will be served from 10-11 PM, and both vegan and non-vegan waffles will be served after that. Attendees will also have the opportunity to be interviewed as part of a weekly internet talk show. Topics between 10 and 11 PM may include entertaining interactions or experiences you've had that relate to being vegan or vegetarian, transitioning to or considering this lifestyle, etc. The Waffle Shop in East Liberty is a creative project run by CMU School of Art faculty/alums/students.

Waffle prices will likely be in the $4 to $6 range.

I would like to know of vegan type restaurants in the south hills area. We seem to be going to the same restaurants to eat vegan - Olive Garden, Pizza Hut, Eat N Park, mexican. Also, where is the Waffle Shop located? Loved the article in the Post Gazette on Mr. Elliot.

Appreciated all the fun company, and Waffle Shop did a great job of prepping vegan waffles and toppings, including fresh fruit and vegan ice cream.

I was glad to see most of "the usual suspects" at one of these vegan events as well as some new faces. Conversations were eclectic as usual...that is until we were all pressed for talk show material (that really made the room quite). I had the yeast raised waffles (highly recommended)...its not strange that I've been fantasizing about them ever since...lucky for me I live on the other side of town or I'd probably be eating them right now.
