PIEROGI NIGHT vs. Burgers: REDUX! (all homemade & vegan!)

Not unlike TRL, we take out guest food requests seriously. And burgers, by far, have been the number one call-in by giddy middle school girls.
As we march into the third trimester of the summer, burgers aught to be the perfect snack to make sure we stay on the right track for the season.

Amazing experience. The overall vibe was enjoyable, the crew was delightful, everyone was accepting & friendly... I can't wait to return. Oh yeah, the pierogi were ridiculous!

    Hey everyone,
thanks to everyone who came last night! We really tried to hustle with our crew.. so much so that even though it might have seemed calmer, we still had over 200 people show up to gobble up our food! Thanks for the continued support - definitely helping us move forward to a permanent space. Look forward to seeing you all next month!

Loved, loved, loved the food. Pierogies were great as always. The burgers were so fresh, soft, and delicious. Delectable toppings. A couple of thoughts: 1. Have you thought about encouraging the take-out crowd to bring their own containers so there isn't so much styrofoam waste (and cost for you)? We all used to do that at CMU at Sree's van back in the day. 2. I agree with Alice. The music really was too loud for the diners. I had a hard time hearing people at my table. Thanks again for all you do and the wonderful attention to detail you put into the food. It shows!!!

The food was outstanding as usual but the music has got to go unless you can play some soft jazz; it was too loud and very bothersome; we came as a group of five and could barely hear each other talk.

    Hey guys,
I'm so happy so many of you are excited, and so are we, so we just want to be clear what this event is.
Every month we pop-up at a space with pierogi and an ever changing guest food. When we pop-up, we make posters, post on some message boards, facebook, meetup etc. = we get out to a lot of people. we've been doing this for almost 3 years now, and nowadays we have a regular turnout of about 200 people over the course of 3 hours.
we have lots of people who come by who learned about us from the vegan meetup, but even more people found out about us by word of mouth, or saw a poster, facebook event, etc..

over time the community that has built up around pierogi night is remarkable, so much so that it has encouraged us to seriously pursue a permanent vegan restaurant space.
the crowd is always very mixed, everything from crust punks to priests, very strict vegans to bacon lovers just stopping by for some pierogi.

for events like ours, and the occasional vegan nights at bar marco or other events that have mixed crowds of meetup people looking to talk shop and just regular joes, i might suggest trying to rally around a certain time or place to make it easier to actually meetup. if there's interest, we can put a sign out on a table for the vegan meetup.

anyways, thanks for the interest, we're pretty stoked about cooking up some burgers, and we look forward to seeing you on saturday!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
