Eco Fest Planning Session

  • September 15, 2013 · 10:30 AM

Let's meet up to review plans and get a bit more detailed for Eco Fest. It's coming up soon, October 5th! For those of you who are new and are interested in participating, we are working on a vegan outreach presentation for Eco Fest, an annual event that takes place at the Wilkins School Community Center in Regent Square. If you'd like more details message me, or just bring yourself to our next planning session.

At Quiet Storm. Don't see you. Staff doesn't know. Maybe the Planning Session needed it's own Planning Session.

How can we NOT meet at the Quiet Storm...I want to go whenever I can before they close! Is this okay with everyone?

I agree! I signed on to do a yoga class that ends at 1045 but it's right across the street from QS so I can walk right over when I'm done.

What do you mean before they close Sara? Is Quiet Storm closing?

We could use the community room here at the Summerset at the Frick (at the sales center) - I would be happy to host and there is enough room (my number is[masked] - please call me if you want this option)

Unfortunately, I can't make this because Soren has his first music class that morning. But, I am still down with collecting some recipes to distribute at EcoFest, and I could also sit at the booth anytime between 10:00 and 11:30. Please let me know what is needed.

Do you want to start sending me your recipes? It would be great for you to sit at our booth from 10-11:30am. Check out the Eco Fest thread on the discussion board too. I think so far I just have you down for recipes.

Everyone want to meet at The Quiet Storm again? We could also meet at the WSCC so that everyone has a chance to visit it before the event. Let me know!

I might be out of town that weekend (and if I am I'll be going to Farm Sanctuary!!!) but it's not looking too likely at this point. If I'm in town I'll be there!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
