Hometown: Pittsburgh/Washington, DC

Vegan (September, 2013) / Vegetarian (Dec, 2012)... kudos to Pittsburgh Vegan (and the Pittsburgh Vegan Book Club) - for helping me finally get it done after too many years.
The Quiet Storm, Franktuary, Abay Ethiopian, Gluteny, and Big Idea Bookstore and Cafe, but... my favorite vegan-friendly spots of all time are the Grit - vegan soul food (Athens, GA), as well as Food For Thought and Sticky Fingers Bakery (Washington, DC).
I am, but my cat Posby was partial to seafood - my new BFF (Best Feline Friend) "Doctor Mew" is pleased to have a Vegan Daddy!
I have had the good honor of the companionship of a feline familiar named Posby - he is named after an Edward Gorey character and a dream vacation involves a road trip with him cross-country on a Ural patrol motorcycle with sidecar (he traveled well and loved the beach).
A greater circle to re-inforce an interest in an eco-friendly compassionate lifestyle.
breadwinner. nighthawk. caballero.
An inspirational group of folk... especially welcoming to individuals at independent positions of the socially-conscious dietary spectrum and personal journey. As all roads lead to Rome, this is a clear and exciting journey on these All Roads Lead To Vegan where this not-so-lonely Scarecrow finally has a brain. PGHVegan Meetup is brilliant!
