Introduction
Hi, I'm Michael. You may have guessed that from my screen name? I live with my girlfriend Tiffaney and our three daughters. We call the Pittsburgh area home when we're not out wandering or camping in some enchanted forest.
Are you vegan, vegetarian or just curious?
Vegan.
What is your favorite local vegan-friendly restaurant?
I'm a fool for Tex-Mex, so I have to go with Mad Mex on this one. Not the finest cuisine around, but we love it. Outside the area, The Vegetable Garden in Rockville, Maryland is my favorite. All vegan Chinese with Tofutti for dessert!
Are you the only vegan or vegetarian in your family?
No. Tiffaney and I and her daughter are vegan. My two daughters are vegetarians as is their mom.
Anything else you would like to share about yourself?
Will be working on an Elementary Education degree at CalU beginning January 2008.

"We haven't done the PH testing yet. It's on the to-do list, but with a female kitten it's not urgent. She has chosen to be a 99% indoor cat, so we keep an eye on her urine volume via the daily litter clumps...."

"We swore that we would never have ANY cats. Then a little black kitten moved in under our front porch. Then we fed her. Then she had her foot nearly bitten off by a raccoon. Then we took her to the vet. She had fleas and worms and ear mites...."

"Yes, I'm aware of that. The family that runs ISCOWP are old friends of mine and I'm intimately familiar with the situation of their cows. The ARL Wildlife Center also raises and kills animals to feed to other animals...."
