Vegan running book/discussion group change of venu

All,

I messed up. Zenith will not be open Saturday, so we have to change the venue.

Rather than have some people show up at the old place and the new, we'll meet in FRONT of Zenith at 12:15, then we can choose from several options that are within walking distance.

And, the weather will be beautiful.

Again, I apologize and the mistake was mine, not Zenith's.

Hi Steve. Here are a few spots near (or at least a healthy walk to) Zenith that have vegan food. You probably know them all already, but in case you don't:

Double-Wide Grill (their usual vegan menu plus soup-of-the-day)

Piper's Pub (good vegan options, but you may need to call ahead to make sure there's room for all of you)

OTB Bicycle Cafe (ask for what's vegan on the menu; I think their veggie burger and veggie "wings" are even vegan with certain sauces)

Emiliano's (if you ask, they'll make spinach "quesadillas" with spinach and garlic and no queso or any bean or veggie burrito, taco or enchilada without dairy)

Pita Pit (lots of choices)

Qdoba Mexican Grill

Cheesecake Factory (robust, full-meal vegetable salads; skip the cheese)

Little Tokyo Bistro (lovely people; veggie "sushi" and hot pots)

Lin's Asian Fusion

Thai Me Up will be moving around the corner from Zenith soon, too.

Have fun!
