A little disappointing. A lot of time used on introductions. Repeat attendees should work on their 30-90 second "elevator pitch" for future meets to use as an intro. Next was a lot of time "wasted", 20 min.s or more (yes I timed it), telling a guy about time management issues. Buy a book on the subject for God's sake. And yes, two people, our host(?) and another had good ideas but those were covered in thorough detail in about 5 mins total combined. And did this guy learn anything? I sincerely doubt it. Being new I didn't want to interrupt and change the subject.

Since this was my first meetup meeting I had different expectations closer to other meetings I've been to in the past. I also watched all the episodes of the "Failure Club" that were on Yahoo and maybe I was expecting these meetings to be more similar to those.

In general I had a good time and may of made some new contacts that could be valuable in the future but I didn't find "exactly" what I was hoping to at this meet.

I second James's ideas!!! I like both ideas, also!!!

To expand on Jame's first idea, "maybe" the organizer could ask for everyone with a 30 sec. pitch to go first; then a 60 sec. pitch etc. and then any new people who didn't know about doing this could introduce themselves etc. (and you Mia, were the other person I was talking about with some good time management ideas)

I love the comments of improvement that was written afterward. I'm sure with all of our input we could truly make this work well. And John seemed like the type of guy to be okay to have others facilitate. Thank you John for setting this up. Pretty warm and friendly, and a space to create. Fun!
