Playing with Code - November 2013

Greetings,

It's time for another meetup! Come and catch-up over a drink, and share what you've been exploring or working on. Feel free to show us stuff from your past & present projects, whether complete or still in progress. This is also a good chance to discuss new or different technologies that not everyone may be familiar with.

An A3 pad & markers will be provided for ad-hoc sketches and diagrams, so you won't need a PowerPoint deck. Since this is informal, we typically finish sometime between 7 and 8pm.

Please RSVP so I have a good idea of numbers for the venue booking. Cheers!

Hey guys - it was good meeting you all. Can you please RSVP to the meetup I've suggested for next week? Even if you're not going - RSVP no - so it is displayed on the main meetups page.

Hi David, I've published this so that it's more visible to people. Cheers.

It sounds interesting though I cannot get what this meetup is exactly about? Could someone give a better explanation? ;-)

It helps a little. So should every attendee make their own speech or no? It might be interesting for me but I'm not ready to talk about anything at least on the first meetup :-)

Hi, this is informal, so you don't have to show something. They're just short demos that can be works-in-progress (not prepared speeches/presentations like a glitzy showcase). Out of these we can have some great discussions where people can share insight, give feedback or find out more about how things are done behind-the-scenes.

Apologies for the late notice - this week looks a little impractical, given that very few would be attending. I've postponed this to next week so that more of you can come. Feel free to suggest a theme, otherwise we'll keep it general and open to anything. Cheers.
