I wanted to start this group because I felt there was a need. I have seen other playgroups for the Snellville, Lawrenceville, Buford area but they are closed to new members. Don't be discouraged! Come join me!! This play group will be for moms of children ranging from 12 mos old to 6 years old (and their siblings) who would like to get their kiddos together to play, because playtime is learning time and playtime is fun! (and playtime helps them sleep better at night ;) I know it's a broad range in age, but I have a 13 mos. old and a 5year old so I will be hosting events that are geared toward those ages. It's open to single moms, married moms, divorced moms, work from home moms, working moms, stay at home moms, crunchy moms, and conventional moms. The only main criteria is that it's moms and kids who want to have fun! I plan on doing weekday activities as well as on the weekends so there is opportunity for everyone to meetup. Afterall, it's called "meetup.com" and what's the point if we can't meetup? LOL!

ps. I don't charge a membership fee, but would happily accept donations to help maintain this site. I have to pay to keep the page so if anyone would like to help me offset this expense, that's wonderful!
