Group play-reading is a wonderful way to understand great dramatic works in more depth and meet some very cool people in the process!
Born on campus at Yale, so it's in the blood. Made my acting debut as Lady Macbeth in the fourth grade. Then I was blessed to have a HS drama teacher who was one of the founders of the La Jolla Playhouse and an English teacher who played Falstaff at the Old Globe, so that made me a theater-lover for life. I've belonged to a couple of play-reading groups and done some school and community theater before.
Love modern American classics - Tennessee Williams, David Mamet, Edward Albee, Sam Shepard, etc.
I'm just an enthusiastic amateur, but I love everything from Shakespeare to Woody Allen.
