Payments need to be made by 06/26 to reserve your spot because I need to pre-pay the owners ahead of time. The payment will cover the entire event. IMPORTANT: You cannot just show up for this event. Only a pre-payment and subsequent confirmation from Abby will guarantee your RSVP. So until you receive confirmation from Abby that she received your prepayment, only select "Maybe". Once you get Abby’s notification, then we will move you to “Yes”

Assistant Organizer, Robert, has heard about a new food truck hitting the LA food scene: Coolhaus.


Here's what Robert has to say: "In July, LA can be a very warm place, so we start craving cool things like ice cream. Oh who am I kidding? Ice cream is great to eat year round. I read a short blurb in LA Times about Cool Haus, which made its debut at the Coachella Music Festival in April. Coolhaus is a mobile truck that specializes in architecture themed ice cream sandwiches. Within the past year, Pleasure Palate has taken you to taco trucks, the Kogi truck, the churro truck and now its time for an ice cream sandwich truck. What better way to enjoy July with the latest entry into LA's growing mobile street food scene?"

For $11/$12, the descriptions below are a sampling of what we'll be tasting at the event:

Ice Cream Sandwich Samples

Frank Behry - a sugarcookie with strawberry ice cream
Mintimalism - chocolate cooke with mint chip ice cream
Mies Vanilla Rohe - chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream
Richard Meyer Lemon Ginger - ginger cookie with lemon ice cream
Oatmeal Cinnamoneo - oatmeal cookie with cinnamon ice cream

Beverages not included. I would recommend that you bring a bottle of water to cleanse your palate between sandwiches. I also recommend that you eat a light lunch before the actual event itself.

    Yes, I am aware that you can follow Coolhaus via Twitter. But the whole point of this arranged event is that Coolhaus will come to us at a designated location. It's a private event just for us only.
