Abby and Erin were gracious enough to let me add a second group. I've always wanted to visit this ship and think that stuffing my face while doing it is the best of all worlds! I will be researching touring the ship later but for now this is just the brunch. See below for new tour info.
Visit the historic Queeen Mary for a decadent Sunday Brunch.
The legendary Queen Mary, a masterpiece of understated British elegance, charm and grace was conceived in 1926 by a cadre of Conrad’s expert shipbuilders, and destined to become the most luxurious ocean liner ever built. The Grand Salon, the ship's original First-Class Dining Room, is an elegant setting for the most spectacular Sunday Brunch in Southern California. This elegant brunch features a harpist to set the mood. Served buffet-style, the Champagne Sunday Brunch offers food from around the globe with more than 50 world-class entrees! Food stations include a Carving and Entree Station with a selection of cooked meats; an Chinese Station with stir-fry; a Pasta Station with a selection of gourmet pastas and sauces; a Dessert Station with such delectables as chocolate covered strawberries; and, of course, an authentic Mexican Station featuring foods from south of the border. Additional selections include breakfast favorites, a salad bar, fresh seafood, and gourmet displays.
Parking is $5 with restaurant validation. The Grand Salon is located on R Deck, the 2nd level, mid-ship and is accessible from portside elevators.
Dress Code: Business-casual attire, including dress shorts and jeans, is accepted. No beach attire, flip-flops or tank tops are allowed in the dining room at any time.
Price: Brunch is $39 plus tax and gratuity. Please remember to bring small bills to expedite the billing process.
If the event is FULL, you may sign up for the wait list. If your plans change, please email me and change your RSVP. Once your RSVP changes, the list will automatically bump up the next person from the wait list. I just spoke to Juan at the restaurant. The self-guided tour is included afterwards so we can walk some of this off before we sleep-drive our way home if you desire. He will provide us the map of the 12 decks, engine room, etc. He also put both of our tables together and the reservation is under Carr / Fitts. See you there!!!
