Please Note: I am hosting this event for both Gay Foodies and Pleasure Palate. Before you RSVP for this event, you MUST call the number provided below and reserve your spot for the walking tour.

Call (909)[masked] to reserve your spot for the tour.

The cost per person is $8 for the tour.

1) I will organize a carpool starting at the Macy's in Sherman Oaks - closest street corner is Riverside and Woodman Ave. Its accessible on Woodman Ave. just north of the 101 freeway. Exit on Hayvenhurst. The carpool starts at 8:00 AM SHARP. We will not wait for latecomers.

2) If you carpool, you agree to attend the other events planned after the tour of the Claremont Colleges.

3) If you ride with a designated driver, please give your driver $20 to reimburse for gas and car maintenance.

Last year we went on a walking tour of Downtown Claremont. Its such a pretty town with a lot of history. This year we will go on the 'sister' tour - the tour of the Claremont Colleges which has a lot of beautiful buildings and architecture and niche museums.

From their website:

Ginger Elliott serves as docent for this tour held four times annually*. See dates in left-hand column. Walking tour is 2 1/2 hours long. Fee: $8/person - Advance reservations requested. Meet at Seaver House - the north/west corner of College and Bonita Avenues - at 305 N. College Ave. Phone (909)[masked] for details. *Rain may cause cancellation.

Note: Keck Graduate University is not currently included in tour.
