RSVP REQUEST: As you RSVP, please note whether you're just going for the tour or both the tour and lunch, so that I can manage my reservations at the restaurant.
Join the "Explorers Club" as we embark on an exploration of our city and of city life. We'll focus on various aspects ranging from architectural to cultural, historical to quirky and/or a combination of any of the above and by doing that, you will definitely gain a better appreciation of the city you live in. So put on that explorer's hat and let's go! Today's event is all about checking out the public art of some of the Orange Line Stations and all for FREE! Have you ever wanted to take a ride on Metro Orange Line but were unsure about how it all works or where it goes or maybe, you just have a fear of public transportation in general? :) :) Whatever your reason is, this event will be the perfect one to not only gain a familiarity with how to utilize the Metro Transportation System, but to also get to know and appreciate the public art that you'll see at the various Metro Stations, all in the company of other PP'ers. For this 2 hour roundtrip tour, which will be led by a docent, we'll be stopping at between 4 to 6 different stations all along the Orange Line and checking out the art installations at each our stops. After the tour is over, for those of you want to join me, we'll take walk a couple of blocks and have lunch at
Pitfire Pizza Company. Considering that this is a FREE tour, you don't have any excuses and even better once the tour is over, you can even use the Metro Day Pass that comes with this tour for the rest of day. Now that's a sweet little bonus! So come and join us for what will be a fun morning exploring some of the beauty that exists in our public transportation system and than join me for a delicious lunch afterwards. The docent was knowledgeable. It was great to explore the orange line. Otherwise, who knows
when I would have gone on it.

An enlightening, unconventional activity that I never would have done on my own. Thanks for organizing, Abby.

glad I saw the orange line after driving by the stations so many times. Art is not as intersting as the subway station art.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
