Some of you may know that one of our Co-Organizers, Sklar, is on the Steering Committee for the Los Angeles chapter of the Human Rights Organization ("HRC"). Because of his experience hosting events as a co-organizer for Gay Foodies and Pleasure Palate, the HRC Los Angeles Steering Committee has encouraged him to organize these quarterly Diversity Dining Events.
The main intentions of the Diversity Dining events are, through a communal dining set-up, to introduce members of HRC and friends of HRC to cuisines from different parts of the world, and to stimulate conversations among attendees who are like-minded individuals, adventurous foodies, and advocates of equality for the LGBT community around the world. A small portion of the ticket sales from the Diversity Dining events will go towards supporting HRC. For more information about HRC:
The $35.00 Price includes the 10-Course banquet dinner, sales tax and gratuity. In addition, the pricing includes a 1 year membership to HRC. However, the $35.00 is not tax deductible.
Enjoy a luscious 10-course Hong Kong style banquet feast in a festive family style dining setting that will allow you to satisfy your appetite while allowing you to mingle with others who share your passion in advocating equal rights for those in the LGBT community. 幹杯 (gòn bùi)!
