Last year I hosted a paranormal activity event at a supposedly haunted place in Boyle Heights. This year while traveling to Calico Ghost Town, PP member Joe noticed that they offered tours of the Harvey House in Barstow. Intrigued, I researched it and the historic site and former train depot is supposedly haunted and they offer ghost tours of the place. So come join me as we travel to Barstow to check out if there is any paranormal activity in the California desert!

Remember . . . Our goal is not to give you a tour . . .

It is to give you a ghostly experience.

This tour will start at 7:30pm at MEGA TOM'S BURGERS in Barstow, CA next door to the Barstow Station MacDonald's (Please click on the Driving Instructions button on the left for directions). The first hour we will enjoy "ghost talk". Have dinner or just a soda (not included in the price) while we talk yours and ours experiences with ghosts. It's a great time for us to get to know the people on the tour.

We will then continue over to the Haunted Harvey House where the doors will be unlocked for us to experience the souls from the past. Ascending the Grand Staircase, walking long hallways, and exploring the deepest darkest basements reveal the spirits from the past of this ghostly masterpiece built in 1911.

The Casa Del Desierto, also known as the Barstow Harvey House and Rail Station, is occasionally one of our touring locations.

After fires in the 1800’s the new Barstow Rail Station and Harvey House opened in 1911. Known as the “Jewel of the Desert”, it served proudly through decades as a place of rest, relaxation, and wonderful food for the weary rail traveler and those on Route 66. For both civilian and military, the service was impeccable and for a reasonable price. The spirits still linger on in and about this historical gem. We will explore its "unknown" in a search for spirits of the past to help us understand and preserve. I hope you join us on one of the Haunted Barstow Harvey House Ghost Tours and keep with you the priceless memories of this powerful experience.
