Please Make Note of Pleasure Palate Attendance Policies and our 3 Strikes Rule by clicking here before RSVP-ing to this Event. Cancelling your RSVP within 24 hours or not showing up at the event without contacting the Organizer ahead of time will result in a strike. 3 Strikes and You're Out!
This is kind of a last minute event; nevertheless, the Pleasure Palate rules still apply.
Since I've become such a big fan of Asian food brunches (all the joy of brunch without a brick in your belly), I've decided to try a brunch at Kobawoo House.
They specialize in Bossam, a delicious pork belly dish that involves the manna of the gods (aka pork belly), steamed and wrapped in lettuce or cabbage with delectable Korean fillings. Yum!
No, this is not from Kobawoo, but it gives you an idea of what Bossam looks like!
Here are some photos from my other group hosted a while back. As you can see, they have one heck of a pajeon (korean pancake). Yes, we will be ordering a pajeon. It is brunch, after all! ;-D
Things I ate (a nice writeup, I think)
Yelp, of course!
No Pleasure Palate event is complete without an article from Jonathan Gold, LOL! It's from 2011, but hey, it's Jonathan Gold aka the Big Giant Head of foodies! ;-D
A beautifully photographed entry from the Gastronomy Blog.
Hope you can join us!
