All You Can Eat/Drink: Tender Greens Beer Garden - Oktoberfest Pig Roast

Please Make Note of Pleasure Palate Attendance Policies and our 3 Strikes Rule by clicking here before RSVP-ing to this Event. Canceling your RSVP within 24 hours or not showing up at the event without contacting the Organizer ahead of time will result in a strike. 3 Strikes and You're Out!

Come over, kick back and enjoy some great food and beer. The Tender Greens Beer Garden and Whole Animal Roast includes all-you-can-drink beer from a local craft brewer (Smog City Brewing), a delicious spread of sides, starters, veggies, seafood, desserts and the main event – a whole roasted pig slowed-cooked in a La Caja China.

I've been to three of the Tender Greens Beer Garden events and each one has been a fantastic feast. Every month there's been at least two main dishes (one or more meats, one fish), 5 appetizers, 5 side dishes, 5 desserts, 3 beers and 2-3 non-alcoholic beverages. This month is their Oktoberfest featuring a whole roasted pig along with many, many other dishes and beers from Smog City Brewing all for only $47! It's also the last Beer Garden of the year, miss this one and you'll have to wait until May 2014!

5 Stars for the company and 5 Stars for the food. Thank you Dan for posting and organizing this outing! And the meal? Wow, one of the best meals I've had in a while. Everything was delicious and what I loved most about this dinner is that everything was well-represented. From the great appetizers to the tasty side dishes and salads to the wonderful roast pork and finally to the yummy desserts (Apple caramel cobbler, truffle balls (I think), apple turnovers w a perfect buttery crust, mini pumpkin pancakes, chocolate cake bites, etc). Finally, that Smog City Brewery "Smoked Smaug Lager" was simply incredible as was the chef's own super-hoppy brew. After this meal, Thanksgiving will be a real downer!! ;-) Oh well, there's always next year and I'm ready! :-)
