If you watch Jimmy Kimmel Live, read the Los Angeles Times or keep up with LA pop culture, you probably already know about Magic Restroom Cafe.

Based on the concept first started by the Modern Toilet Restaurants in Taiwan, this is the first incarnation of this theme in the U.S.

Here's a link to a CNN video about this Taiwanese eatery.

Hopefully you have a sense of humor and will join me "on the pot".

I didn't see the post until today! I would love to go there. Can you set another date, preferably weekend again.

I've been there already, any other organizers interested in hosting? Bueller? Bueller?

Once people get over the the new concept. It's going to be over. I liked the calamari,my drink and some of the dishes.
But the curry needed some "kick" to it.
Still can't believe we ate out of "toilets"...
No one could justify explaining to co-workers that we went to "toilet" restaurant. Ha Ha.

If you need help explaining to your compatriots Daisy, just show them the pictures of you eating out of a miniature porcelain toilet. To the contrary, I predict that this craze will last much longer than the cronut will.

After all of the corn jokes, a couple of things to note: 1. We received a 10% discount off the entire check because they still consider this their "soft opening". 2. If you are going during the soft opening, you should check their hours. We found that they are now opening at 11:30 and closed from 2pm to 5pm daily because they are so busy every day. Bon appetit.

    Strange fun

I had a lot of fun, think of it as a theme restaurant with reasonable prices. The food is pretty good, not the best but pretty good. I think people may be comparing it to their favorite Taiwanese restaurant. When you gotta go you gotta go.

Sorry, Jeff. No. Can. Do. I can't get past the porcelain.

Jeff, you crack me up! I've got something else going on, but this sure sounds like a crazy place. Rain check please.

Would love to go Jeff, but its short notice so already have another commitment. Or else I'd be there, its whimsical.
Maybe another time after they get their service kinks out.

Dratz! I'd love to go with you but I'm already booked during that time. I am planning to go later in the evening after my haunted houses event in The OC.

Of course you'd be the first to host this! Hahaha! An empty "bowl" of curry did not look appetizing in pics I've seen.
