NOTE:  I'll be going to this event when it starts at 1:00 pm, but it actually runs until 8:00 pm or until they run out of food.  RSVP only if you're planning on meeting me at 1 pm.  If you'd rather go later, there's no need to RSVP to this event.  Just go whenever you're able. Also, please bring CASH for the Tip Jar!

Awhile back, I found out about an underground burger event, called Burgers and Beats, run by Chef Christian Navarro of Haute Skillet.  I actually read a post about it from a fellow blogger, Lady Ducayne. In it, she referenced the Juicy Lucy Burger. Basically when it comes to Burgers and Beats, Christian will create a specialty burger and those who choose to attend his underground event just pay with tips, whatever they can afford.  Click here to read her post.

The story interested me so much that I decided to go to the following Burgers and Beats event and the burger special that time was what Christian, tongue in cheek, referred to as a Mother's Office Burger with a hamburger, pork belly confit, organic arugula, a poached egg, American cheese and maple glazed onions on a French baguette.  That's the picture you see above. Click here to read my post.

So now's your chance to check out Burgers and Beats and for this month's burger, it's back to the Juicy Lucy Burger, which by the way, is a burger with cheese stuffed inside the patty before it's grilled.  You can imagine the cheesey goodness you'll get when you bite into this delicious burger. I know that I'm already anticipating it. :) So I hope you can take some time from the Easter egg hunting madness and join me for this quirky burger event.
