AO/Plus Member Dim Sum Brunch with Leah

Let's start July 4th off with a bang in the SGV!

Leah, one of Pleasure Palate's former AO's, is coming back to town for a visit. Dim sum is on her list of "must-have" LA tastes while she's here. I do believe I first met Leah a few years ago over a dim sum feast, or was it one of Abby's food truck events? Doesn't matter. Let's eat and catch up! :-)

***This event is only open to Plus Members and AO's.***

  • Please arrive on time, no later than 10am. The restaurant does not take reservations and it's a super busy place. We need to ALL be present in order to claim our table.
  • We will gather in the reception area as you exit the elevator into the restaurant on the 4th floor.
  • This is a family style event and the bill will be split equally between everyone at the table.
  • Cash only, no credit cards.
  • Free parking on the ground level or underground parking structure.
  • BONUS: there's a 99 Ranch Supermarket next door, a MUST stop if you've never been.
  • My contact info will be emailed to attendees the day before the event. Please call me if you're running late or lost.

Karen, since I'm the main organizer of this group and know who is a Plus Member or not, I'll look into your suggestion. Thank you.

Sally, as I am an organizer of a group I know that that option is available if you make a custom list of people by a/o and plus members. You should look at the settings. I don't like to email people about an event and then tell them they are not invited to attend.

I had the same experience Annette and when I checked here there were no spots. Very odd.

Sally, that's what I thought. Thanks.

Karen, if that option were available I would have done so.

Annette, I'm not sure why you received those emails. The event is still full. If someone drops out the wait list is set to automatically bump the next person in line into the spot and notify them.

I just got two emails saying a spot opened up and I should say "I'm going" -- but isn't that what I did by putting myself on the waiting list in the first place???

If this event is only open to Plus Members and AO's isn't there a way that you can send the email about this event only to them instead of the rest of us?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
