The new and improved Dorados Ceviche Bar

A couple of months ago I was reading a few blurbs about the Ricardo Diaz, owner of Cook's Tortas and Guisados, opening (or re-opening) a ceviche bar in May this year. There were some permit issues and it closed back up for May and most of June.

Being a huge fan of seafood, and Mexican ceviche in particular, I kept an eye on this place. They are now open and slowly introducing their menu.

I can't guarantee what they will have or won't have on their menu, but heard that they have a ceviche sampler plate for $8, baja oysters, seafood cocktails and aguachiles (pictured above - photo credit to  Cesar R. on  Yelp) as well as some aguas frescas to drink. They will also offer fish tacos at some point. Of course I can't guarantee what will be in place when we check it out, but will post an update should I hear more about it.

We've had past events at Cook's and Guisados, so let's go for Dorados!

Loved the ceviche, taco, oyster and agua fresca. The owner and staff were so nice. Great company too!

Dex, just so you know for the future, there is a 24 hour cancelation rule for events in Pleasure Palate. Thanks.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
