dineLA dinner @ The Bazaar by José Andrés in SLS Hotel 10/2/11

Since I am hosting another table of 8 with my HEARTS group, Sunny has agreed to host a second table for me since they can't guarantee we'll be in same room and I'd probably shoot myself or others if I tried to sort out bill for 16--I am NOT Robert!  ;o)  This is the write-up for my other group that I did.  Thanks tons Sunny--change it as your heart desires!

Part Tapas master (small Spanish plates of yummies), part molecular gastronomist (turning food science on it's head), Jose Andres has been bringing his own unique flair to the culinary world for years now.  Prior to eating here, some of us will be seeing the movie about one of the restaurants he apprenticed in that helped shape his cuisine so I thought it appropriate to try his food afterwards.  And LOW and behold, it's DineLA week--a/k/a Christmas for foodies.  Prix fixe menus for lunch or dinner.  Dinner for this event will be $56 which includes tax and tip, drinks and other menu items ordered would be extra.  BRING CASH whenever possible.  The caveat here is that they generally like to keep the entire table on the dineLA/prix fixe menu.  We can order other things if we want but we need to all stick with the program.  Please keep this in mind when RSVPing.

ALL Pleasure Palate rules apply--in spades.

The Bazaar is still one of the best dining experiences in Los Angeles. Exciting and whimsical like a twisted Alice in Wonderland.

What I was thinking,,,,but it's up to Sunny....is to split the tables into 2 sets of 4 and share......I'd prefer to split the check that way but we shall see what the consensus is.

i've been here twice with a decent size group and it always seemed that we'd get a much better deal and more variety by eating family style and getting a BUNCH OF TAPAS a la carte. what do you think, Sunny?

I love this restaurant and we do a lot of design work with them. So when I eat there or when clients are staying in the rooms: I check how the pillows and throws are getting massacred due to all the wear they get. :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
