LudoBites.TEN...The Best of LudoBites!!!!!!!!!!

Please Make Note of Pleasure Palate Attendance Policies and our 3 Strikes Rule by clicking here before RSVP-ing to this Event. Cancelling your RSVP within 24 hours or not showing up at the event without contacting the Organizer ahead of time will result in a strike. 3 Strikes and You're Out!

I consider my meal at LudoBites.007 to be one of the best meals I've ever eaten, so the thought that this might be even better has my head spinning and my stomach doing the happy dance!

Last time, I was with a group of 8, and we dined family style, ordering two of everything on the menu. This time, we will do the same, so we can try every wonderful thing on the menu. Please remember that since it's a family style meal, regardless of whether you try everything or not, you will be responsible for 1/8th of the food bill (plus your beverage, but word is that they are not charging corkage, so let's BYOB). Expect to spend about $85 per person (including tax and tip, not including beverages).

The menu is subject to change but you can see what they served on opening night at:

Street parking should be available, but be sure to read the signs carefully!

You must get the chicken plate and the panna cotta with caramel sauce and caviar. the 2 best dishes on our night! the prawn was overpriced for nothing special but the scallps were very nice! also a must: duck, pad thai flavored dish, escargot, and octopus.

I hear that the menu is rotating, but I hope that the Tandoori Octopus dish is available when I go with friends next week. It's one of my favorite dishes. I also like Ludo's version of Boudin Noir. Oh, and who can not forget the delicious Hangar Steak and John Dory. Mmmm.

Dan-I'm going next week. Thanks for posting the blog with all me u items and pricing. Curious how you came to the very affordable price and not about $124 (excl tax/tip) that I came up.

Kimmi, at this point, I would suggest that if you can, you should take a chance and line up outside of Gram & Papa's...tell Krissy that you want to put your name down for any walk in seating she may have (usually tables for 2 only). If you can't get a reservation, then that's the way to go. That's how I was able to get in for Ludo's Foie Gras night back in June. You may also want to send a tweet to Krissy, asking if there are any walk-in seating. Good luck.

Thank you so much for your advice. I've checked everyday for reservations but must have poor timing. Great idea about tweeting Krissy.

Anyway, having been several Ludobite pop-ups in the past, I noticed that last night's service seemed to lack some hustle and bustle. You guys tell me what you notice when you go on the 20th.

We need a second table. :(

Shery, it's hard to say if this will be possible as reservations were issued out through a random lottery 2 weeks ago. One would have to looking at the right time on Urbanspoon to catch any reservations they may open up due to cancellations, but who knows. Demand might be greater since this may be the last incarnation of LudoBites (he has 1 restaurant in the works right now)...
