Please note: This is a whole day event. People always ask me where I took my profile pic. I had the pic taken last April at the Flower Fields of Carlsbad. If you want to view gorgeous row after row of flowers in a picture perfect setting, then this is the place for you. We will meet at 7:30 AM SHARP (do not be late or you will be left behind) in front of Platine in Culver City:
http://www.yelp.com/b... For every 4 people that are attending the event, we will need one volunteer designated driver. I highly recommend parking on Elenda since there aren't any street meters in that road. If you want so save some money, pack some snacks and water. Make sure that you ask your designated driver if its okay to drink beverages or snacks in their car as a courtesy. If your skin is fair, I would recommend bringing some sunblock lotion as well. I also HIGHLY recommend that you empty your bladder before arriving at Platine. This way e don't need to make any restroom stops until we hit the first destination down in San Diego County. For the designated drivers in the group, please make sure to fill up your car with gas the night before. From Culver City, we'll hop on the 405 and head down to the 5. I will provide all the designated drivers detailed directions and maps. To kick things off, we'll have some caffeine and breakfast at Pannikin Coffee & Tea:

http://www.yelp.com/b... Estimated cost for lunch is also between $10 to $15, depending on what you order. Total estimated cost is between $40 to $50. That will include gas money to your designated driver ($10), the $10 admission fee to the Flower Fields (you get a discount if you are a Triple A member), and your breakfast and lunch. If you pack your own food, then your estimated cost will be lower. You are strongly encouraged to bring snacks, beverages and sunscreen.
