Spanish, Asian, Mexican, and now that I have a two-year supply of Hatch chiles -- New Mexican/Southwestern! Unfortunately, there aren't any New Mexican restaurants in Southern California.
I have favorites for different reasons; they run the gamut. But you can find me at Tender Greens often; I actually Twitter Tender Greens for the daily specials. I also have dreams of restaurants I had visited in Barcelona.
It's a 3-way tie for most memorable meals: My special vegetarian plate at my brother's wedding; my first dinner in Spain, and several years later, the yakitori at Kokekkoko. My fave meal everywhere is a complete salad and dessert.
Savory yet sweet. I like both tastes and love to "experience" food, in restaurants and at home, cooking. I favor meals that have unexpected combinations and local, fresh and seasonal ingredients. I savor company that appreciates the same.
