Introduction

I've been a lurker for the most part on the Chowhound board which has really helped me find great places. That's where I got pleasure palate link. I'm originally from S. Korea but love to eat food from many different countries and also love to cook.

Favorite Cookbooks

The Gourmet Cookbook, Mediteranean Food of the Sun, I have others but are mostly various ethnic cookbooks ie. Thai, Indian, Chinese, Korean etc... Most cookbooks are fun experiment with.

Best Meal I Ever Ate

Whenever I ate exactly what I had been craving for days.

Favorite Comfort Foods

Southern BBQ, fried chicken, Korean food in general, cheeseburger, pho, Chowfun, thai boat noodles or super spicy thai anything, burrito/taco, dim sum, chinese and vietnamese food, shish kebab w/rice & herbs & cheese, and much much more

Favorite Cuisines

All types- Asian, Indian, Mediterrean, European, Middle Eastern, Ethiopean, Mexican etc... Most cultures have some food that I like. Hard to have a favorite when there is so much variety, so whatever I'm craving at the moment is my favorite.

Favorite Restaurants

India Sweet and Spice, Sushi Gen, Hide sushi, Square one, Loteria Grill in Farmer's market, Astro Burger, Cru, So Gong Dong Soon du bu, Beverly Soon du bu, Korean Plaza food court, J n J Burger Shack, Jr's BBQ, Pho 200, Rahel Ethiopean, Bagel Broker, Shamshiri Persian, Pollo de Brasca, Elite Dim Sum, Healthy Family, Guelaguetza oaxacan, Allegria Mexican for their great Mexican coffee, Porto's, Roscoe's, Kyochon Korean fried chicken, wahoo's, Monte Alban, La Casita Mexicana ....some places I like in L.A.
