The Portland Metropolitan Photographers’ Association is your local, non-profit, volunteer run association dedicated to supporting local professional photographers and promoting excellence in photography. We are the local affiliate for the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). The Association was begun in 1987 by nine founding members and continues as one of the most active Associations of Photographers in the Northwest with over 100 active members. Dues are only $45 a year and, of course, you're welcome to attend a monthly After Hours meeting before you join to experience what the group has to offer.
PMPA provides fellowship, education and a forum for the exchange of information and ideas. Its membership reflects all experience levels from masters to aspiring professional photographers. We invite you to join us and experience the benefits of a local organization dedicated to your success in professional photography.
