podCALGARY started in 2006 as a place for Calgary's podcasters to get together and discuss this new medium. It quickly evolved to include other forms of user generated content and distribution channels. Topics of discussion included social media, Google and content development. 

In 2011 podCALGARY evolved again. We joined the Creator Camp Revolution. (www.creatorcamp.org) This movement tied nicely into the values and goals. We are here to facilitate user generated content and digital distribution. However, we can learn and be inspired by other forms of analog creativity, textile arts, painting etc. and we can offer ideas and tools to help these artists share their creations in a digital world. 

We have a focus on podcasting and digital content and we welcome other artist and amateur content enthusiasts.
