Spring Poetry

Feel free to bring a poem you've written about spring or a poet you enjoy who has captured the essence of spring in your mind. We will be returning to Sunday mornings since that seems to work best for most people. We will also be meeting at the Fred Meyer on 39th and East Hawthorne since the cafe room is big enough to accommodate enough people and it is relatively quiet as compared to other places. If anyone has any other ideas of quiet places that meet on Sunday mornings, please let me know. Unfortunately, the Mt. Tabor Church is ideal space since its cafe parlor is quiet, but it doesn't open till 12:30pm. Looking forward to seeing new and returning members to this meetup.

Best wishes!

I know this is last minute - is anyone interested in going to Annie Bloom's books this evening to see Carlos Reyes present The Book of Shadows? It's at 7:30pm. I don't know this poet, but I think this is how you discover poets you like, yes? I am planning on attending.
